Day 3 of the Grindrod Bank Berg & Bush and the final day of the Descent! We couldn't have asked for a better crowd of riders, and a more beautiful day out on the trails! Thank you so much to all who came out to ride the Descent this year! We hope you had as much fun as we did!

An amazing day out on the trails over at the Boschendal Wine farm in Franchoek for this years FedHealth MTB Challenge. Took on the 30km this year (Half Marathon) and enjoyed it a lot, was a bit easy being mostly jeep track, but we got a few single track section and probably every river they could find. Will most definitely be back for next years one to tackle that full 60km.

Nissan Trailseeker Series travelled to the heart of the Cape Winelands in the picturesque town of Wellington. Draped with scenes of wine estates, fruit orchards and mountains, riders were in for a spectacular day out on the bike. The cool winter morning breeze welcomed trail seekers to the second round of the Western Cape. Matthys Beukes & Janice Venter was crowned champion of Nissan Trailseeker #4 Wellington. Karkloof – The race for the overall line honours at the Sappi Karkloof Classic Trail Festival 60 km marathon ended in a thrilling sprint finish with Under 23 ace Julian Jessop bouncing back from a series of crashes to outwit Stuart Marais on the finish line.Jessop and Marais raced the entire race together with Pieter du Toit, and the crowd enjoying the 25th anniversary celebrations of this pioneering event were treated to a grand stand finish to the blue ribbon race.It was an emotional win by Jessop, whose racing career started at the same venue when was a nervous youngster."I did my first race here when I was nine years old," The Pyga/Euro Steel star recalled. "I was crying on the start line of the 10 km race becuase I was too scared to do it."Then my younger brother took off, and I thought 'There is now way I can let him beat me', and off I went, so I actually dedicate this win to him.
